AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners for Wednesday were: north/south —Jane Elliott and John Erdman, Luke Merry and Nancy Farmer, and Jean Bird and Paul Jones; east/west — Debby Gardner and Janet Arey, Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell, and David Offer and Bob Wood.

Winners on Thursday were Fred and Lorry Letourneau, Janet Arey and Jane Elliott, Diane Bishop and Nancy Lenfest, and David Offer and Ben Lund.

The club meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Granite Hill Estates, 60 Balsam Drive, Hallowell, and 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Kennebec Plaza, 20 Willow St., Augusta. All are welcome; a partner is guaranteed.

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were Carroll and Audrey Harding, Pat Kick and Joanna Denis placed second, and Ed and Joyce Rushton tied with Diane Bishop and Jackie Chadbourne for third place.

The club meets at 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday at the Elks Lodge, Industrial Road in Waterville. Bring your own partner.

HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center, announced its recent bridge winners.

Game day bridge winners on Wednesday was Sue Finn, Jane Gilbert placed second and Judy Canning placed third.

Bridge Day winners on Thursday was: Fran Wadleigh, Peggy Barrett placed second and Nancy Wadleigh placed third.

Waterville Bridge Club

WATERVILLE — The Waterville nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Thursday were Wilma Pouliot and Carmen Landry, Betty Perry and Barbara Terhune tied with Jackie Gamache and Sylvia Palmer for second place, a three-way tie for third with Peggy Thompson and Anita Mathieu, Alice King and Dick Quinlin, and Lee Lenfest and Madeline Poulin, Louie Violette and Gabrielle Rice placed fourth.
