WEST GARDINER — Fuller’s Market will hold a special event and raffle to benefit Special Olympics Maine from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at 599 Hallowell-Litchfield Road. The event will feature an appearance by Jamie Henderson, award-winning mini kart racer of Kart #52, according to a news release from the market. The event also will kick off raffle ticket sales for a chance to win a 2018 Harley Davidson Road King Special worth $22,000.

Tickets cost $20 and only 2,500 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held Oct. 12. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Maine, according to the release.

Fuller’s Market owner Walt Longfellow said, “Come out for a day of fun. Check out Jaime’s race car and help out Special Olympics at the same time. Enjoy a delicious burger from our diner and we’ll donate a dollar to Special Olympics for every burger sold that day,” according to the release.

Henderson also will sign autographs and answer fans’ questions about the sport of mini cup racing.
