The 74 residents, their families and the staff at Cedar Ridge Center recently were treated to a barbecue by the Skowhegan Elks Lodge members.

This is the fourth year that the group has applied for a community grant which enabled members to provide the facility with a barbecue including entertainment. The club members worked the grill then served the meal to the group.

Rochelle Steward sang while the meal was being prepared and served.
