Mayor Nick Isgro should be humble and apologize to the residents of Waterville. It was not four people that voted to recall him; 1,472 people voted to recall him.
We are still waiting for an apology to David Hogg and the students of Parkland, Florida. Fifty-one percent of Waterville residents voting against recall means 49 percent believe Isgro’s actions and comments were, and still are, not appropriate for the mayor of Waterville or any public official. The impact is felt far beyond just Waterville.
