The Gardiner/Augusta Lions recently installed its leadership for the 2018-19 fiscal year at the Clubhouse, located at 25 Lions Ave., in Gardiner.

Gardiner/Augusta Lions Past President PID Lew Small installed the following officers: President Bunny Parks, Treasurer Jeanette Weber, Second Vice President Linda Shorey, First Vice President Terry Cloutier and Secretary Marie Bronn.

Club members and guests meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Membership is sought through interest and invitation in the many events that support the club’s active community action for blindness, diabetes, emergency, handicap, scholarship, youth, needs and more.

The club hosts Bingo at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday and opens at 4 p.m. to offer supper and snacks from the kitchen before the games begin. The Lions Pride Community and Flea Market, open from October to May, the craft fair on the first Saturday of December and the rentals to the auctions, Weight Watchers, the Four Leaf Clover Club and caterings all support the clubhouse.charities and blood drives that the club participates in.
