Twenty-seven women of the Maine-ly Harmony women’s acappella chorus will hold a benefit yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Hill Gardens on Route 3 in Palermo.

Among the offerings will be plants, refreshments at the Harmony Cafe and the chorus and quartets will sing songs of the decades in acappella barbershop harmony.

Maine-ly Harmony performs benefit concerts throughout Maine for residents of nursing homes and veterans at the VA hospital in Augusta. The chorus is comprised of women of all ages who hail from around the state and meet at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday evening for rehearsals at the Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church on Route 17, Eastern Avenue, in Augusta. All women and girls are invited to attend rehearsals.
