A Cumberland County Sheriff’s cruiser was damaged and a Windham woman injured in a two-car crash in Windham on Sunday morning.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Jenea Eide, 38, was operating a 2013 Nissan west on Tandberg Trail at about 7 a.m. and making a left hand turn into the Irving Little Mart gas station when a cruiser, operated by Det. Bradley Rogers who was traveling behind her while responding to an unrelated incident, collided with her vehicle.

The cruiser left the road, struck a vent pipe for the underground gas storage tanks at the gas station and then collided with the Little Mart sign, police said in a press release.

Eide was taken to Maine Medical Center with minor injuries.

Rogers was not hurt.

The Little Mart remained open but the gas pumps were shut off.

The crash is under investigation by the sheriff’s office and Windham Police Department.
