State Sen. Eric Brakey, who is running for the U.S. Senate as a Republican is aiming for America’s massive $21 trillion debt, and he is right on target. Checking the U.S. debt clock has become a family tradition, as passing debt to the next generation is a tradition in D.C. This is the reason I urge Mainers to join me in supporting Sen. Eric Brakey.
Brakey has a comprehensive plan to address America’s spending problem. As Mainers’ futures continue to be put on the line, Brakey plans to use some simple principles to save American’s their hard-earned money. Brakey calls it the “penny plan.” By saving one penny for every dollar spent, the government would save taxpayers $8.7 trillion over 10 years.
The people of Maine can no longer sit around and let the government spend us into ruins. If Maine wants someone to fight for the next generation, then Mainers need to vote for Eric Brakey.
