Jason Putnam is a candidate for House District 87, which includes Wiscasset, Alna, Pittston, and Randolph. I plan to vote for Jason because he is honest, plain spoken and approachable.
As a father of school-age children who owns a small carpentry business in Wiscasset, Jason has put his concern for educational issues into action by serving on the local school board. Training in the skilled trades during and after high school is one topic of special interest to him. In the 1960s, my father established a program for technical services in suburban high schools and I’ve witnessed many success stories attributed to well-financed, up-to-date alternative education.
