Chloe Maxmin is an energetic young Democrat running for House District 88. I have had the opportunity to talk at length with her, drive her door to door, and see her primary debate where she cogently answered questions posed by the moderator and others from the audience.
I find her enthusiastic, intelligent, caring, well-informed, and deeply committed to the well-being of the state she loves. As a high school and college student she successfully organized important, grassroots environmental campaigns, and now works with several nonprofits to improve her community and Maine.
As a candidate she speaks passionately about supporting public education and reducing the burden of local property taxes, providing what seniors need so they can remain part of their community, ensuring affordable health insurance, and protecting the quality of Maine’s environment.
Maxmin would be an excellent legislator with a bright future and deserves to be elected in November.
