CONCORD, N.H – Gas prices have dropped a bit more in northern New England.

Prices in Maine have fallen 6.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.65. Prices also are down 4.2 cents per gallon in New Hampshire, to $2.68. They fell 3 cents in Vermont, to $2.80.

The latest GasBuddy survey shows the national average has fallen 5.9 cents per gallon last week to $2.67 a gallon. The national average has dropped 22.1 cents during the last month and stands 12.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago
