LEWISTON — Josh Caldwell, of West Gardiner, a senior at Bates College, has been named a 2018-19 Community Liason for the Bates Student Action Club.

In this role, Caldwell, a environmental studies major and geology minor, will lead community engagement efforts, developing activities, programs and partnerships that encourage civic learning and action for the Bates Student Action Club.

Caldwell, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Caldwell, of West Gardiner, is a 2015 graduate of Gardiner Area High School.
