The Maine Community Foundation has created the Sagadahoc County Fund to support nonprofit and public organizations in Sagadahoc County.
A volunteer committee of Lincoln and Sagadahoc county community and business leaders called the Southern Midcoast Committee reviews grants and makes recommendations for funding. In 2018, the committee awarded more than $80,000 in grants to 13 nonprofits.
The deadline to apply is Feb. 15.

MaineCF began its County and Regional Fund Program in 1986; it now manages permanent endowed funds for all 16 Maine counties.
