Sassquatch: The Missing Link Between Funky Fusion Jazz and Pop Rock will be featured at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. at the Somerset Abbey, 98 Main St. in Madison.

The a six-piece band from Augusta are the missing link between funk, jazz, fusion and pop music. Every member of Sassquatch graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta Jazz and Contemporary Music Program, and have since entered the real world ready to get sassy, get down and get funky and ready to play.

Sassquatch members include: Christine McCormick, vocals; Jared Wilkinson, vocals, guitar, alto saxophone, keys; Matt Knight, guitar; Bryant Sirois, guitar, keys; Dan Gilbert, bass; and Cameron Lopez, drums.
