AUGUSTA — A Rural Roots Revival concert, featuring the father/daughter duo Shawn Mercer and Maizey from Orland, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 69 Winthrop St. They will share their original acoustic music and messages of hope, love, reverence for nature, and the power of personal and spiritual growth as agents of global change. Bring your voices, drums, or other instruments to participate in this musical revival. This is a family friendly event so feel free to bring your children.
The suggested donation is $10 a person, $25 for families. Half of all donations will benefit the church.
