Opera House Arts’ Island Women Speak is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Stonington Opera House, 1 School St. in Stonington.
The popular women’s storytelling event is coming back for a fourth iteration where seven women, seven generations, seven true stories will be told live from the stage.
The event will be directed by Debbie Weil.

The theme will be centered around moments when life surprises you. Seven speakers will each perform a five-minute personal story they have written on the topic, revealing truths about their lives on the island.
Tickets cost $10 at the door, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Island Community Center.
