Bowdoin College student Hajna Nagy, of Hallowell, recently received a $1,000 scholarship from the Legislative Memorial Scholarship Fund on April 11.
One recipient from each Maine county earned a scholarship. Nagy and other winners were awarded their scholarships in the Maine Senate. Nagy was accompanied in the Senate Chamber by her mother, Kelly Crotteau.
Nagy was presented the scholarship by Sen. Shenna Bellows, D-Manchester, and Legislative Memorial Scholarship Committee co-chairman Sen. Bill Diamond, D-Windham, in the Senate Chamber.
