Tyrone Fleurimont, 31, of Roslindale, Massachusetts, is charged with criminal threatening and was taken to the Kennebec County jail, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland said in an email.

Fleurimont was one of two men who reportedly tried to break into a house on Wyman Road just before noon and was confronted by the homeowner, McCausland said.

The men fled in a car and were stopped by Maine State Police troopers about a mile away.

Drugs and cash were seized from the vehicle and troopers were continuing to take an inventory of the vehicle Wednesday afternoon, McCausland said.

The Clinton Police Department assisted in the case. No injuries were reported.
