Abortion is neither health care nor safe. According to the Food and Drug Administration report in 2011, there were 2,207 cases of adverse events, 339 blood transfusions, 612 hospitalized, 256 infections and 14 deaths. The FDA reports also that only 1 to 10% of these serious complications are reported to them. That means that these horrors could be 10 to 100 times higher.

These horrors to women all come from the FDA-approved prescription version of mifepristone, also called RU 486, which also bears a boxed warning indicating that the drug carries a risk of serious or life-threatening adverse effects, including serious infection and prolonged heavy bleeding, proving that these abortion pills are much more dangerous to women than advertised.

If the abortion pills fail to kill the little one and expel his or her body, a surgical abortion becomes necessary. That means another $500, so she must pay twice to kill one baby.

According to Gov. Janet Mills, the Democratic Party, Family Planning, and Planned Parenthood, these misnamed “benefits to women’s health care” must be made available to poor women as well. They insist that taxpayers pay for these dangerous abortions, which are no benefit to mothers or their babies, only to the bottom line of Family Planning and Planned Parenthood.
