I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But I can’t help but wonder, why can’t we just take a fraction of the many millions of dollars that we send to our allies to get our own people off the streets into proper housing and fed? Why can’t we spend some of that money to train these people to go out and get some of those thousands of jobs that Trump claims he has created? What good are all these available jobs if no one applies for them?
What about all of our veterans who have given so much to this country and end up on the streets because their very own country would rather spend money on frivolous things, like studying why people flush their toilets so much, rather than help these wonderful courageous people?
Why isn’t our own country as important to us as all these other countries are?
Why is this so hard to understand?
Well, that’s my rant for today.
