JACKMAN — Parker Desjardins scored 42 points and had 20 rebounds to lead the Forest Hills boys basketball team to a 82-48 victory over Carrabec on Wednesday night.

It’s the sixth time this season Desjardins has scored 40 points or more.

Mason Desjardins scored 13 points, while Jackman Daigle added 10 points for Forest Hills.

Luke Carey led Carrabec with 19 points, while Robert Lindblom added 10 points.

 

MESSALONSKEE 84, WATERVILLE 44: Matthew Parent scored 30 points to lead the Eagles in Oakland.

James Smith scored 16 points, while Reese Gardner added 14 points for Messalonskee.

Liam Von Oesen led Waterville with 16 points, while Spencer Minihan added eight points.

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

 

CARRABEC 62, FOREST HILLS 24: Cheyenne Cahill scored 19 points to lead the Cobras in North Anson.

Linsay Hamilton scored 12 points, while Courtney Rollins and Summer Lindblom each added seven points for Carrabec.

Taylor Fourture led Forest Hills with seven points.

 

WATERVILLE 52, MESSALONSKEE 50: Kali Thompson scored 16 points, including 11 in the final quarter, to lift the Purple Panthers on Wednesday in Waterville.

Her layup with 55 seconds left was the difference in the end.

Kiera Gilman scored a game-high 22 points for Waterville (4-1) as well.

Morgan Genness and Ashley Mullen each scored 12 points for the Eagles.

 

BOYS HOCKEY

 

CAMDEN HILLS 3, KENNEBEC 2: Nate Newgard scored two goals for the RiverHawks in a loss to the Windjammers in Camden.

Donald Gurney and Jay Brock each had assists for Kennebec.
