Gary Wendell Little
AUGUSTA – Gary Wendell Little died Dec. 29, 2020 at the Togus VA Hospital in Augusta. He was born Feb. 1, 1941 in Brewer, the son of Guy Alfred “Al” Little Jr. and Ruth S. (Lancaster) Little. He attended the Good Will-Hinckley School. Gary was a veteran of the Navy, 1960-1963, serving on the USS Saratoga. He worked at many places, including D and A Billiards and the Metro Bowl, JC Penny, Scott Paper/Kimberly-Clark in Winslow, and Bath Iron Works. He was married to his wife Roseline Little (Doucette) for 53 years.Gary enjoyed spending time with family, bowling, playing pool, boating and fishing. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Roseline Little; and his brother, Linwood Little. He is survived by his brother, Maurice of Presque Isle, stepsister, Ann Paradis of Winslow; Shawn L. Little, wife Pamela and their daughter Darcy; and Stephanie L. Wallis and husband Andrew.A celebration of life and a graveside service will be announced in the spring. We would like to express much gratitude to the caring, compassionate staff of VA Togus of 3 North for their care and generosity during Gary’s final days.
