WINTHROP — Noah Grube scored 18 points to lead the Winthrop boys basketball team to a 48-45 overtime victory over Madison on Wednesday night.
The Ramblers were up 23-18 at halftime, but the Bulldogs outscored Winthrop 16-13 in the third quarter and 8-6 in the fourth quarter to push the game into overtime.
Logan Baird scored seven points for the Ramblers, while Noah Dunn, Ian Steele and Brayden Stubbert each added six points.
Cameron Cobb led Madison with 16 points, while Cameron Melancon added 10 points.
