In response to MaineGeneral’s selective COVID vaccine pilot program, I must respond. Jim LaLiberty, MaineGeneral chairman of the board, defended the vaccine pilot that used their “Day in the Life” program, which allowed 12 hospital financial donors to be given the COVID vaccine. His rationale was that the trial would uncover any issues with the vaccination process.

Laliberty goes on to say that people were selected who could be useful in providing feedback. How convenient that their “donors” were those that were selected.

Laliberty should not insult our intelligence. If it were not for the media exposing the unethical use of power, none of us would be the wiser. Corruption and misuse of power at its best. Shame on you, Maine General.
