Maine has one of the oldest populations in the country. Winthrop as well as its five surrounding towns have a large population of residents age 70 and above. These folks are first on the list for vaccinations.
Winthrop Commerce Center is an ideal center to hold vaccination clinics. The first floor has two unused large rooms and the upper three floors are already being used for health care purposes. The Commerce Center has a large parking lot that can accommodate vehicles. I think it would make sense to utilize the Winthrop Commerce Center for vaccination clinics.
