NEW LONDON, Conn. – Bruce M. Peters, 70 of New London, CT died peacefully on Jan. 30, 2021. His sister Carol and her husband Mike got to see him for an hour and a half on the day he died.

Bruce is the son of the late Russell C. and Marie Peters. He was born on Oct. 3, 1950. He graduated from Madison High School in 1968.

He was the manager of W.T. Grant in Augusta before the store closed. He then moved to Connecticut where he managed different store in various parts of Connecticut. He was also a part owner of a Wendy’s until he sold his share. He then went to Mohegan Sun where he was the manager of several restaurants and when concerts were playing, he had to see to the needs of the person that was appearing. He will be missed by a lot of people.

Bruce is survived by his sister Carol and her husband Mike of Augusta, brother Larry of Moscow, his ex-wife Margaret Peters of Willimantic, Conn. and a very special friend Tisha Thompson of Groton, Conn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the spring of 2021.
