I’m writing in support of Cory Alexander for selectman in the town of Belgrade. Cory is one of three candidates running for the two vacancies on the Board of Selectmen. The election will be held in March during the annual town meeting.
A candidate forum by the town Communications Committee will be held via Zoom on March 3 at 6:30 p.m., and all residents are invited to attend. In order to attend, you will need to get the Zoom information from the town office. According to the chairman of the committee, the forum will be moderated by Jay Bradshaw. We will likely be following the same procedure as our last candidate forum, where candidates receive some questions ahead of time that they will likely be asked in the forum.
We also invite audience members to ask questions through the chat function on Zoom and Facebook. A recording of the forum will also be posted on the town’s Facebook page and website after the event.
At this tumultuous time in our nation’s history, we need to stand up, take notice of what’s happening, who the candidates are, what they stand for, and support those worthy.
I ask you to join me in voting for Cory Alexander to represent us in Belgrade on the Select Board.
