Hope Michael
MOUNT AIRY, Md. – Hope Michael, 83, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at Lorien Assisted Living in Mount Airy, Maryland.
Born on Dec. 3, 1937, in Augusta, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hillier and Florence (Lyon) Hillier.
She was the loving wife of the late Jerome J. Michael, they were married on Aug. 27, 1960, in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Michael graduated from Cony High School in Augusta, Maine, and earned an associate degree from the International Studio of Interior Design in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by her children, Melinda Hannah and husband, Richard, Tammy Irwin and husband, Doug and Pamm Shankman and husband, Andrew. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A private interment will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Norbeck Memorial Park in Olney, Md.
