PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Jean H. Poulin, 85, of Vanguard Terrace, died Feb. 26, 2021 in Port Charlotte, Fla. after a brief illness.

She was born in Queens, N.Y. on June 1, 1935, the daughter of Adolph Christensen and Madeline (Bean) Christensen.

Mrs. Poulin was educated in New York, graduating from Mepharn High School in 1950.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Brunswick Hospital in Amityville, N.Y. for 15 years, and by Meadowbrook Hospital for 10 years.

Her husband, Rudolph G.W. Poulin, predeceased her; as well as her daughter, Debra Cotter of Port Charlotte, Fla.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Mottola of Massapequa, N.Y., four sons, Gregory Poulin of Port Charlotte Fla., Christopher Poulin of Oakdale, N.Y., Andrew Poulin of Commack, N.Y. and Douglas Poulin of Catasauqua, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12 at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday May 13 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Northern Ave., Augusta.

Burial will be with her husband in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
