Thelma S. Mower
AUGUSTA – Thelma S. Mower, 94, of Augusta passed away at home, to be with the Lord on Feb. 23, 2021. She was born in Nobelboro.She was the loving wife of the late Roland J. Mower of Lewiston.She is survived by two children, her son, Sgt. Robert J. Mower, USMC Vietnam Veteran, living in California, and a daughter, Beverly S. Jauron, a nurse living in Augusta.Our Mom was an avid walker and demonstrated her love of life through her humor, exhortation and encouragement to all she had contact with. Primarily a home maker, she developed her skills in baking and gardening. Her strength and tremendous gift of giving will be greatly missed. The family gives a special thanks to HomeCare Services, A Better Choice Home Care and the nursing staff of Beacon Hospice. It is her request to not have a funeral, instead have a life celebration at a later date.
