UNION — Kathi Langelier, author of “Herbal Revolution,” will be Vose Library’s next “Zoom with Vose Wednesdays” program at 6 p.m. on March 24.

After the dark, heavy, months of winter and eating heavy winter foods, our bodies crave lighter, slightly bitter foods. Spring is a traditional time of the year to offer digestive systems some extra support through the use of herbs, foods, movement and creativity.

Union’s Langelier has received numerous awards over the years for her formulas from places such as the American Herbalists Guild, International Herb Symposium and New England Made Shows. Having studied clinical herbalism with David Winston, Leslie Alexander and Leslita Williams, Langelier has spent 25 years following her passion for organic farming, herbal medicine and community wellness with great dedication.
