PORTLAND — Liberty Graphics, environmentally conscious T-shirt printers, is accepting art submissions to its 24th annual $1,000 art scholarship contest.
All high school seniors residing in Maine are invited to submit original works that reflect on the theme of “Art and our Natural Environment.”
Art entries must be traditional two-dimensional media, reflecting on Maine’s natural environment. Submissions must be postmarked by Friday, April 16.
Photography, sculpture and computer-generated work cannot be considered. Each student may submit more than one piece of work.
The winner, and art teacher of the winner will be announced in late April. Art will be returned to the artist’s home in the first week of May.
