Jasmine Sarah Millner

ROME, N.Y. – Jasmine Sarah Millner, 25, of Rome, N.Y., passed into the arms of the Lord on March 19, 2021.Jasmine was born in Rome, N.Y., to Tracy and Musco Millner III on Feb. 2, 1996. Jasmine was a 2014 graduate of Rome Free Academy and received a Bachelors degree from the University of Albany in 2018 in Journalism and Spanish. Since graduating, Jasmine was pursuing her dream of acting and was associated with multiple films through the American High Productions. Jasmine was also a passionate vegan who had an active and expansive social media presence, highlighting and modeling various vegan based products. Besides acting, Jasmine was passionate about social justice often advocating for the rights of all people. She was a fan of traveling and was a coffee connoisseur. Jasmine had a witty sense of humor and was a loving person, who lit up any room she was in and would never miss an opportunity to pet a nearby dog. She was the most gorgeous, confident, spitfire, and beam of light in our lives. She was the most empathetic person with a huge, huge heart. She was so passionate in what she believed in and had one of the most brilliant minds. She would set a goal and would not stop fighting until she achieved it. We choose to remember her as the fighter that she was and we hope that all of you do, too. No words would be able to encapsulate the amazing person she was nor the life that she lived. Jasmine is survived by her mother, Tracy Millner and “Stepdad” Roger Guerrieri, her father Musco Millner and her Stepmom Lisa Millner, sister Ashley Millner and brother-in-law Donte Williams, Grandparents Kevin and Barbara Hoehn and Sarah Millner, Aunts and Uncles Carey and Greg Bor, Cathy and Jeff Dockum, Kelly Hoehn, Sabrina Wilkerson, Rosalind Passley, Grinda Millner and Jeff Wilkerson, Jasper Barber and Bo Barber. In addition to family locally, she also leaves behind a large extended family in/love for Mt. Vernon, Maine, and her beloved pets Biggie and Sammi. Jasmine is predeceased by her great-grandmother, Lois Siegler, grandfather, Musco Millner Jr. and aunt, Wendy Williams. All are invited to visitation from 3-7 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Strong-Burns and Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, N.Y. Luminaries will be released at sunset after visitation. Please wear a mask and respect current social distancing guidelines.
