Charles “Chuck” Knapp

AUGUSTA – Charles “Chuck” Knapp passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning on March 22, 2021. Chuck was born in Fort Ann, N.Y. and raised on the family farm, Windy Acres. Chuck moved to Phoenix in 1997 where he graduated from high school.

Chuck will always be cherished and remembered as a loyal, hard-working, kind-hearted, happy, and easy to love soul. Chuck was an accomplished chef and always brought creativity to the kitchen. He enjoyed working along side his brother, Jason, on job sites for Central Maine Dry Wall, where he was employed.

Chuck always enjoyed the outdoors and was passionate about hiking. He accomplished a life changing dream by hiking the Appalachian Trail from Mt. Katahdin to Springer Mt., Georgia. He had many hobbies and especially loved discussing D&D and scale model trains with his nephew, Simon.

Chuck is predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Chester and Marie Rock.

Chuck is survived by his mother, JoAnne Knapp Harding, father, Edward J. Knapp (Tina); brother, Chris Rock (Esther), brother, Jason Knapp (Meghan), sister, Sophia Knapp, stepbrother, Nakeya Avery, stepbrother, Andrew Avery-Allen, stepsister, Madelyn Avery; several nieces, nephews; aunts; and his dog who he adored.
