WASHINGTON — Elizabeth “Betty” Grinnell received the Boston Post Cane and certificate March 24, signifying she is the oldest resident in town at the age of 96.
Nephew and nieces along with some of their family members and her son were there to cheer her on. Selectman Wesley Daniel presented Grinnell with the cane.
