Brenda Lee (White) Crocker

FARMINGDALE – Brenda passed away quietly in her home on March 30, 2021 holding hands with her children and surrounded with love after complications from a long-standing illness.

Brenda has always lived in the Randolph/Gardiner area. Graduating from Gardiner High School, she worked for many years at Merrill Nursing Home and Gerard’s Pizza.

Her best friends were always her sisters, Helen, Debbie, Robbie and Wanda, along with her best friend of many years, Linda Rankins. There are many stories of great childhood memories, earning notorious reputations as the White gang on Kinderhook Street. She also had a special closeness with her grandchildren whether it be the sweet Grammy baking huge cookies for them or dressing up as Freddy Krueger to meet then at their bus stop on Halloween.

Diagnosed with MS at an early age, she fought for many years instilling great respect and strength with her children. Although she raised five children, she was known to be “Mom” to a great many more.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Fessenden and husband Joseph of Chelsea; Lynn Caron and fiancée Jack Downs of Randolph; Heidi Millett and husband Ken of Wilton and son Henry Crocker Jr. of Farmingdale; as well as beloved grandchildren, Kasha, Chantel, Tamera, Richie, Nikki, Gabe, Michael, Faith, Brenna; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Crocker Sr.; and daughter, Lori Matthews.

A private family service will take place at the Augusta VA Cemetery. A celebration of life for both Brenda and her daughter, Lori, for family and friends will take place on May 8 in Chelsea.
