Brickman has had a successful, 41-year career in a variety of markets, including the past five years with Central Maine Healthcare, according to a news release issued late Thursday.

“The Board deeply appreciates Jeff’s service to CMH and celebrates this decision with him,” said Dev Culver, chair of the health care system’s board of directors.

The board said that that on July 19, Steven G. Littleson, Central Maine Healthcare’s current senior vice president of operations and president of Central Maine Medical Center, will be named the health care system’s interim president and CEO. Littleson will serve in the interim role until the board announces permanent leadership for the system.
