
Winthrop Maine Historical Society will host a spring plant sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 15; rain or shine. The event will be held in the parking lot of the future home of the Winthrop Maine History and Heritage Center, located at the former Key Bank building at 107 Main St.
Annuals, perennials and herb flats will be available for purchase.
Donations of divided plants are appreciated. Potted plants should be labeled with the plant name and the color of any blossoms, if applicable.
All monies from the sale will be used toward renovations and other ongoing expenses for the heritage center.
