AUGUSTA – Mildred Adams, 85, died Saturday, April 17, 2021 at her home following a long illness. She was born in Gardiner on Oct. 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Guy I. Farrington, Sr. and Lillian E. (Wadsworth) Farrington.

Mrs. Adams attended Augusta schools and was a homemaker for most of her life.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Adams.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Penny Stiman and her husband Harry of Augusta, two sons, Steven Adams and his wife Brenda of West Gardiner and Kenneth Adams of Hudson, N.H.; a brother, Guy I. Farrington, Jr. of Greenville, N.H., a sister, Evelyn Biskaduros of Hudson, N.H.; six grandchildren, Christopher Stiman, Timothy Stiman, David Adams, Sarah Cook, Spencer Adams and Megan Taormina; nine great-randchildren, Martin Cook, Ava Adams, Emmette Adams Noelle Taormina, Connor Taormina, Anthony Taormina, Nettie Viel and her husband Dakota, Emma Stiman and Molly Stiman; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no visiting hours. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
