AUGUSTA – Elizabeth Ruth Brann, 60, of Graybirch Drive, passed away on April 14, 2021 at home unexpectedly. Born in Augusta on July 3, 1960, she was the youngest daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara (Miller) Brann. Beth was the baby of seven siblings.
Beth was a graduate of Messalonskee High School and was employed for many years by Goodwill Industries. Beth loved spending time with her clients during her years there and made many friends. Beth’s greatest joy in life were her pets.
She was predeceased by her dogs Dixie and Dolly and her beloved cat Delilah. She will be greatly missed by her niece Kelley and husband Bert Allen of Sidney with whom she spent her holidays with, especially enjoying her piece of cholate cream pie.
Beth is survived by her sisters Patricia Gagne of Palermo, Pamela Dutton of Hamlin, N.Y., Martha Gibson of Augusta, her brothers Raymond Brann and wife Katherine of Chelsea, Dennis Brann and wife Carol of Vassalboro; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Those who went before her include her parents Raymond and Barbara Brann; and her eldest sister Carolyn Armstrong.
Burial will be later as well as a celebration of her life. There will be no visiting hours per her wishes for people to remember her as she was with no makeup and frills.
