DIXFIELD — Madison pounded out 14 hits, including five for extra-bases, to beat Dirigo 12-0 in five innings in softball action Wednesday.

Landyn Landry had two triples, three RBIs and scored twice for Madison  (5-0) while Arabel Linkletter added two triples, a single, an RBI and scored three times. Jersey Tewksbury, Brooke McKenney and Alison Griffith each had two singles,

Dirigo falls to 1-3.

OAK HILL/MONMOUTH/LISBON 20, ST. DOMINIC 1: The Raiders cored early and often to pull away from the Saints in Auburn.

Tiger Hopkins led all scorers with seven goals for Oak Hill (2-0), followed by two goals each from Travis Caron, D’Andre Daniels and Caleb Richard. Goalie Nick Michaud saved 13 shots for the Raiders in the win.

St. Dom’s, who played most of the game with just one substitute, earned its only goal of the game via the stick of Roman Vitolo. Saints (1-3) goalie Aaron Thibault saved 17 shots.

 

MESSALONSKEE 10, CAMDEN HILLS 3: Brady Brunelle scored four goals and Bryce Crowell had three goals and an assist to lead the Eagles in Oakland.

Ian McCurdy made nine saves for Messalonskee (6-2) and Camden Powell stopped 12 shots for Camden.
