BINGHAM – Neil “Sonny” Maynard Wade, 87, passed away May 6, 2021 at Somerset Rehabilitation in Bingham. He was born Dec. 7, 1933 in Winslow, the son of Warren M. and Hester (Rood) Wade.

He attended East Benton Elementary School and graduated from Lawrence High School class of 1953. On July 11, 1953, he married Mary LeClair in Clinton. Sonny owned and operated Sonny’s Pizza, Pine Grove Lodge Guide Service and made snowshoes with his wife, Mary. He enjoyed hunting, bee-keeping, and trapping.

Sonny is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary (LeClair) Wade of Bingham; two sons, Neil Wade Jr. and wife, Karen of Bingham, Timothy Wade and wife, Christy of Bingham, daughter, Melinda Richards; brother, Richard Wade, sister, Juanita Linnell and husband Carroll; many grandsons, granddaughters; and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Edwards Towers.

He was predeceased by two sons, Daniel Wade, Eugene Wade, daughter, Dianna Wade; parents Warren and Hester Wade; sisters, Marilyn Wilson and husband Fred, Phyllis Towers, Regina Richards and husband Gordan, sister-in-law, Sandra Wade.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 8 at 2 p.m. at Quimby Elementary Parking Lot, Main Street, Bingham with Val Vigue officiating.
