Kevin M. Chambers

MERIDIAN, Miss. – Kevin M. Chambers, born June 12, 1966, passed away on March 23, 2021, following a courageous battle with heart and kidney disease. A Maine Native, he graduated from Lawrence High School. In 1992, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served 8 ½ years, receiving multiple commendations. While in the military he obtained his master’s degree in business. Following his honorable discharge, Kevin made his permanent residence in Mississippi. Kevin was employed several years in the construction equipment industry; lastly, he was employed by Fecon and its affiliates groups. Kevin was a quiet family man with an unforgettable grin. He enjoyed the Gulfport Ocean, Patriots, and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Kevin is survived by his loving wife , Latisha; his daughter, Reagan Chambers; his stepsons, Denzel, Devin, and Brendon Davis of Mississippi, his son, Dakota Marshall of Winslow; his brother, Darren Chambers of Winslow; his mother, Sally Chambers of Shawmut, his father, Kenneth M. Chambers and his wife, Brenda; his half-brother, Alex Chambers and his wife, Rikki of Blue Bell, Pa., his half-sister, Heidi Walker and her husband, Lance of Saco; several aunts, uncles; cousins; nieces, nephews; and special step grandchildren, Conk and Josiah.He will be forever missed by his family and friends. A go fund me page has been established to support his wife and his daughter’s educational needs for those who wish to donate. A family gathering for remembrance will take place at a later date.
