Would you want an events center in your backyard?

In Waterville, the refurbishing of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church into an events center is sparking debate: chiefly, about noise. Some residents are voicing concerns that an events center nestled in a residential neighborhood will disturb families late at night. Others say that an update to the old church that will preserve the building and invigorate the area outweighs any possible noise issues.
