Paul L. Chapman Sr.

DRESDEN – Paul L. Chapman Sr., 77, passed away peacefully at Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough, Maine, on May 18, 2021. “Ain’t it brutal!”

Paul was born July 8, 1943, son of Norris Fulton Chapman and Thelma Lois Murray.

Paul was a marine worm digger all his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Linda Alice Goud, three brothers; William Chapman and wife Beverly, Norris Chapman and wife Olive, Richard Chapman, two sisters; Elinor Chapman LaPlante Collins and Phyllis Chapman Hall and husband James.

Paul is survived by his children, sons, Paul Chapman Jr., Anthony Chapman, daughter, Laurie Trask and husband Douglas, six grandchildren, Xavier Trask, Margaret Trask, Maxwell Trask, Brittany Chapman, Madison Chapman, and Anthony Chapman, five brothers John Chapman and wife Diane, Charles Chapman, Bruce Chapman and his Gail, Daniel Chapman and wife Sandra, Carroll Chapman and wife Sharon, two sisters, Joyce Morton and husband Roderick, Gloria James and husband Karl, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, May 26, from 11 a.m. -12 p.m., at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dresden. After the funeral there will be a gathering at the home of Laurie Trask, 824 Alexander Reed Road, Richmond, to celebrate Paul’s life.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Gosnell Hospice.
