CVS Health, the national pharmacy chain that has two dozen locations in Maine, has partnered with other businesses to offer a chance to win prizes for individuals who get vaccinated at its stores between June 1 and July 10.

The company announced its #OneStepCloser sweepstakes on Thursday.

“Getting as much of the population fully vaccinated will bring us one step closer to all the things we’ve missed during the past 14 months, and keep our country moving in the right direction,” Dr. Kyu Rhee, CVS’s senior vice president and chief medical officer, said in a statement.

Among the prizes that will be offered are:

• 50 cash giveaways of $500 and five grand prize giveaways of $5,000 for family reunions.

• 100 seven-day cruises for two from Norwegian Cruise Line to a choice of destinations, including the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe and more.

• A VIP trip for two people to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, sponsored by Procter & Gamble, including game tickets, airfare, hotel and more.

• Five three-day/four-night trips to Bermuda, including airfare, deluxe hotel accommodations, roundtrip transportation, and more, sponsored by the Bermuda Tourism Authority.

• 500 $100 gift cards for dates from Hinge, a dating app, and one grand prize of $5,000 for an “ultimate date experience.”

• A VIP package for two to attend iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September, including first-class airfare, hotel, floor seats, backstage experiences with artists and more.

• Five two-night getaways and one grand prize seven-night getaway including airfare voucher, redeemable at thousands of hotels, vacation club resorts and vacation rentals operated by Wyndham Rewards.

• Six fully escorted tours for two from smarTours at one of many international destinations. Airfare included.

Incentives are increasingly being dangled by both private businesses and states as a way to entice the mildly vaccine hesitant, even though some have argued that they shouldn’t be necessary.

All customers 18 or older who receive a COVID-19 vaccine or certify that they’ve registered to receive it from CVS Health are eligible. This includes vaccinations at a CVS Pharmacy retail location or through CVS Health at a long-term care facility.
