Chelsey L. Roy

ST. ALBANS – Chelsey L. Roy, 24, died on May 27, 2021, from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident that occurred in St. Albans.

Chelsey was born on Jan. 16, 1997, in Waterville, Maine, the daughter of Christopher and Kim (Alton) Roy. She graduated from Nokomis High school with the class of 2015. There are no words to describe Chelsey. She gave her heart and soul to everyone she knew. Having the biggest heart, she always saw the best in everyone she met. She was extremely creative and enjoyed the outdoors. She would fish, hunt and trap with Jacob just to be with him. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and the love of Jacob and Jacoby’s life.

She is survived by the love of her life, Jacob Richards; her son, Jacoby; parents, Chris and Kim Roy, sister, Taylor Roy, brother, Brandon Roy; grandparents: Alan and Susan Cray, Bob Alton, and Crystal Nichols; her in-laws, Amanda Morrill and Coby Richards; brother-in-law, Quinton Richards; niece, Emilee; nephews: Joshua and Noah; her dream puppy, Marnie, the St. Bernard; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

She was predeceased by her grandmother, Kim Alton; grandfather, Ron Roy; her “Uncle Daddy” Jeremy Richards; uncles, Terrance Grass and Roland Grandmaison.

The family requests that for services friends come colorfully dressed.

A very heartfelt thank you to be extended to the St. Albans Fire Department and the Somerset County Deputies for their professional and compassionate care given at the accident scene.
