Patricia Helen Gray

SACO – On May 26, 2021, Patricia Helen Gray of Saco, Maine, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia’s legacy lives on in her last love and husband, John Gray; her adoring children, Jennifer, Jonathan, Shannon, Blaine and Cassandra; her siblings, Debra, Nathan and Neal Jr.; her stepmother, Linda; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four of whom lived with her and were blessed with her daily love and devotion, Kiana, Adeah, Alexia and Kahlia.

Patricia is reunited in heaven with her father, Neal; her mother, Connie; her brother, Michael; her husband, Kenneth; and her daughter, Catherine.

Patricia was born in Augusta on Dec. 25, 1952, to Neal Bowie and Constance Grenier. She devoted most of her life as a dedicated and proud homemaker to her six children. She also enjoyed a career as an Educational Technician for the Litchfield school system and later as a Family Independence Specialist for DHHS.

Patricia was a lover of animals, especially her dog, Gracie, who was her constant companion. She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, dancing and puzzles.

Above all Patricia’s joy in life was her family. She was a selfless and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She lived for family gatherings, creating so many beautiful memories. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and her legacy. She faced many challenges in her life and in doing so exemplified strength, courage and perseverance. To know her was to love her.

Patricia will be laid to rest in a private service on June 5.

Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home and Cremation 365 Main St, Saco are entrusted with her services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
