Janice Anne Goldrup

MONMOUTH – Janice Anne Goldrup, 69, a resident of Monmouth, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, at her home. Born to Calvin Boynton and Attalie (Gay) Boynton on Feb. 23, 1952 during one of the worst recorded blizzards in Maine. She attended school in Readfield and Winthrop. On Oct. 28, 1969 at the Jesse Lee Memorial Church in Readfield, she married Dennis A. Goldrup. They enjoyed 31 years together before his passing in 2001. She worked as a school bus driver for several years before staying home to raise their daughter Tricia. Her husband Dennis was a long haul trucker and she enjoyed going with him on his trips throughout the United States. In more recent years you could enjoy her cooking at the Monmouth Market. She loved serving her daily customers known as the “Coffee Club” and always looked forward to socializing with them. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends and her sister before her passing in 2019. She also loved to go shopping, clip coupons, cooking, driving and was a big animal lover. She will be greatly missed by those that loved and knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Tricia Gagne and husband Bob of Tucson, Arizona, three grandchildren, Caitlyn Gagne of Monmouth, Casey Gagne of Augusta and Avery Gagne of Tucson, her great-granddaughter, Katarina Gagne, brothers, Gary Boynton and wife Lori of Readfield, Harry Boynton and wife Rose of Blanchard, and Chris Boynton and wife of Gardiner.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her sister, Shirley Crocker.
