If you live in Augusta, please vote on June 15 (or absentee) in favor of a new police station. The Augusta Police Department is the best of the best. Every day they take care of us; now it is our turn to take care of them.

Their present building is decrepit and can no longer effectively serve as a police station. The new building will be efficient and enhance the capability of our police officers to serve our great community.

The location, on lower Willow Street across the street from City Center, was selected based on much public input and input from the police officers themselves. Through careful planning the cost will not result in a tax increase.

Please join me by voting yes on this critical bond issue.
